No mention of the Airpower charging pad at this event on September 12. Is the product still alive? IS it coming in 2018 as originally promised?

Great question and Apple has been silent about it.

I have heard a rumor that Airpower is delayed due to heating issues and electronic interference among the various devices charging at the same time. I have heard that Airpower might finally come out in Spring, 2019.

From what I've heard, it's probably not going to be released at all.

If it is actually never introduced, would Airpower be the first device announced by Apple that is never completed?

If it is released, I hope they offer both black and white.

I am not a fan. I don’t have a single place I would charge and when I charge my Watch it’s always in nightstand mode so I can see the clock.

Extremely annoying! This would consolidate everything on my nightstand.

Apple recently removed any mention of AirPower from their web site. Not looking good! I’m not particularly bummed if the rumored $199 price point would have held up. That’s a LOT of dough for a glorified Qi charger, even if it’s made by Apple and charges multiple devices.

Now that we have three Qi chargers, I’m not as disappointed as I would have been.

I’m not really disappointed it’s not here either, and as others have said, it would consolidate my nightstand as well. Then I could move the wireless charger I already have to my living room. However, I’m also not sure I want to spend $200 on a wireless charger.

I would like to have an "all in one" charging system, but $199 is a little pricey...and since they have removed all mention of it from their website, I'm not going to hold my breath...
