Where is Airpower?

I have heard a rumor that Airpower is delayed due to heating issues and electronic interference among the various devices charging at the same time. I have heard that Airpower might finally come out in Spring, 2019.

I am not a fan. I don’t have a single place I would charge and when I charge my Watch it’s always in nightstand mode so I can see the clock.

Apple recently removed any mention of AirPower from their web site. Not looking good! I’m not particularly bummed if the rumored $199 price point would have held up. That’s a LOT of dough for a glorified Qi charger, even if it’s made by Apple and charges multiple devices.

Now that we have three Qi chargers, I’m not as disappointed as I would have been.

I’m not really disappointed it’s not here either, and as others have said, it would consolidate my nightstand as well. Then I could move the wireless charger I already have to my living room. However, I’m also not sure I want to spend $200 on a wireless charger.

I would like to have an "all in one" charging system, but $199 is a little pricey...and since they have removed all mention of it from their website, I'm not going to hold my breath...

I think that Apple & Microsoft have made some secret alliance where they will jointly announce Microsoft’s Surface ‘Andromeda’ device, to be charged/powered by Apple’s AirPower charging mat...
