Why does my settings say only password

It is just saying password and I went to the Apple Inc. website and it says it should say touch ID and password and it doesn't say touch ID

If you're device supports touch ID, it should say, "Touch ID & Passcode". Which device are you inquiring about? Does it support Touch ID?
