Oh man, cubes are gorgeous. I've had a thought to go after one over the years as I don't have a PowerPC era OS X machine (my G3 runs Mac OS 9) but I do most of my retro-computing on my modern Macs now with emulators and don't touch my old hardware to much anymore.

Still if there was ever a computer that was pretty as a display piece, it'd be a G4 Cube!
And with the clear Harman Kardon speakers...Beautiful!

We are packing to move and I found this bad boy in a drawer. I'm pretty sure this was my first iPod.

The iPhone 4 was my first Apple gizmo. I really miss iOS 6. I want that look back with today's features. That would
be awesome.

Performa 550. My parents purchased it for me when I was in the 7th grade. I remember waking into CompUSA saying I want this one.

Oh, my first "Apple device" was my Birdy's Macintosh IIsi, that looked very much like this one. It had the Trinitron monitor that was the same size as the case and that great old 'aircraft carrier' keyboard. That one is also still my very favorite Macintosh mouse. Running System 7.0.1

She had bought it through her educational discount shortly before I moved out to live with her.
Together we used it to start our home-based graphic design and desktop publishing business.

Oh, she also had a Personal LaserWriter NTR that was the critical output end of our business.

This is still the only computer I ever made much money with.

My very first Apple product was iPod Nano 8gb, 2nd generation. I really liked it and then I became totally loyal to all Apple devices.. And even now I'm writing this from my MacBook

I bought my wife, who was my girlfriend at the time, a white 1GB gen 1 Nano. She still uses it from time to time.

I remember i college using the Macintosh Plus. Lol at least looking back thats the closest image I can find to what I used.

Yeaaaaaars later I inherited a PowerBook G4 and the addiction began.

Since it came with tons of music and mixes (friend was a dj in NYC) I had to have a portable since I couldn't fit the music correctly onto my Nokia, I bought the original iPod.

Then in 2008 I bought my first white unibody Macbook.... which is still ticking and passed down to my son. I also have a 2002 PowerMac G4 (Quicksilver) with a 27inch cinema display. The original TV (you know the one you can fry an egg on).
First iPhone purchase was the iPhone 3g... a slew of iPod nanos, and finally... currently using my Macbook Pro R, iPhone 6.
Lol its funny though because after I bought that iPod and fussed at the price of it I swore I wouldn't buy anything else from  because they were so expensive.... but the statement stands true... you get what you pay for.
