Lost email folders and cannot create new ones as a box appears and says server will not allow it, what can I do?

Lost email folders and cannot create new ones as a box appears and says server will not allow it

Woke up ,and nearly all my folders n my mailbox have vanished and iPad will not allow me to create new ones ,all my contacts are gone too.No idea wot to do can't find any info on it

Try deleting the email account and add it back again.

Go to Settings >Mail,Contacts and Calendar >email account > Toggle contacts on.
Toggle Notes OFF to see the Notes folder in Mail.
