I scanned some old photos, and want to import them into photos as 1985, but they come in as 2015. How can I get the date to change?

I scanned some old photos, and want to import them into photos as 1985, but they come in as 2015

I tried changing the metadata in iPhotos, but when I move them to Photos, it just disappears and goes to 2015 again.

Try changing the date and time in the Photos app... it's under the Image menu in the Photos app... select an image, then go to the menu...
