Why can't I select specific photos?

Trouble selecting photos

In new PHOTOS, i cannot seem to select specific photos to upload to any application. I hold down the COMMAND key and select the photos i want but when i hit the upload button all the photos are selected from that group of photos.

I don't know why that's happening, and I can't replicate the problem. Having said that, try rebooting your computer or signing out of iCloud and then signing back in.
