How do I send a photo via email or message from my iTouch?

I want to send a photo via email or message from my iTouch

I follow the normal steps and it seems like it went as expected. I even hear the swoosh. But the email never arrives and does not show up in the Sent folder.
In the case of Messages there is the notice 'Not Delivered'
What am I missing ?

I am assuming you're referring to the iPod Touch. Anyway, if the device is connected to the Internet then your messages should have successfully been sent. If they were not received, it is possible that:

1. The message was sent to the wrong recipient
2. The recipient has blocked messages from you.
3. If email, the message could be in the recipient's junk folder.

Since you've stated that "in the case of Messages there is the notice 'Not Delivered', it is possible that the recipient's device is off or inactive.
