Voicemail Question

Back in the day, I used to hit *86 to access my voicemail settings. With my iPhone 5, no worries as I have visual voicemail. I did hit *86 today and noticed something, you can change your password and greeting, however as I recall you used to leave a name to identify yourself when calling others. Is that option no longer available? Does anyone recall what I am talking about? It is like if I called you, your voicemail would say call from John Doe received at XX:XX. Does it no longer do that?

I've never heard of that before... Interesting. How long ago was "back in the day?"

Up to maybe 2 years ago when I got my iPhone. You used to have to record your name as well as a greeting.
