Mine went from 52436 to 52440

To check yours - enter in *#5005*4357# & hit send...

To update - *228 option 2.

This updates your preferred roaming list... which is a database in the phone that tells it which towers it is allowed to roam on, and in what order. These change from time to time, and need to be updated. Changes happen because roaming agreements with other companies change, or - infrastructures change on roaming partner networks or Verizon's own network and system ID numbers get changed, making PRL changes necessary.

When I dial that number, my iPhone gets an automated message that the call can't be completed as dialed. Any ideas?

Ever since i upgraded to iOS 5, I'm unable to check my PRL. It just tries to place a phone call. Anybody know a way around it?

On iOS5 go in to settings/general/about and scroll down to carrier and tap on carrier and it will cycle through carrier/prl/eri info with each tap. Found it by accident myself.

Just checked it today and it went from 52522>52559
