There is a new Verizon prl update to version 52363.

Dial *228 and select option 2...

To check PRL Version - dial *#5005*4357# hit send...
Old version # was 52297
New version # is 52363

Thanks for the info! I know you usually select option 2 to update the PRL. Is it necessary to select option 1 occasionally? Does this update anything?

Option 1 is not necessary

Option 1 is the basic, initial programming for the phone to operate on the network... there are occasional times when it might need to be done - like when Verizon has made an infrastructure change requiring changes in set-ups to phones... and in those cases, Verizon will instruct people when it's needed... and occasionally, if dealing with tech support, they'll have you do the option 1 in troubleshooting.
