Experience using made for iPhone Hearing Aids?

I'm looking for comments/experience with using made for iPhone hearing aids. Good/bad/indifferent. Preferably without needing an in between device like the Oticon Streamer or Connect Clip. I've got a streamer, and it works ok, but I don't want to have to haul around an extra device everywhere if I get new aids.

I haven't worn any, but I've heard good things about the ReSound LiNX 3D, and the Starkey Halo. I'd like to have a pair myself. But my insurance is too stingy.
