Any update on Lory Gil's article on upgrading to Catalina?

I'm still hesitating, mainly because I have a TB of music on iTunes with carefully modified tags. It's been a few months since Lori's cautionary article. Any update on how upgrading to Catalina affects users' iTunes collections (or other vulnerable items)?

I don't have any stored music or special tagging for my songs, so I don't have anecdotal experience to share here, but I can say that you should definitely back up your Mac and consider preparing to possibly downgrade. https://www.imore.com/how-downgrade-macos (don't forget to put Mojave on a bootable installer before upgrading). I'll ask around to see if anyone has stored iTunes music and tags and let you know what I find out.
