Is there an app for the iPhone to syn with the watch? My fit bit had an app I could check every day. Also can I change my ste settings

Welcome to iMore! I’m assuming you’re referring to Apple Watch. In that case, you’ll use the Watch app that’s already built into iOS. Bare in mind Apple Watch requires an iPhone 5 or newer running iOS 8.2 or newer.
