Links/buttons to individual members in group chat

[iMore Question]

Looking for some help! In all my group chats on messanger I now have a bar that runs along the screen just above the keypad with what looks like individual buttons with every members name on them within the group.

When I press the button it takes me to a private message with them.

Not sure if something I have turned on in error or an update. Has anyone seen this or know how to turn off?

Welcome to iMore! The bar showing the individual contacts is normal, but it's supposed to be at the very top of the window, not just above the keyboard. Reset your device by holding the power button and home button down (or volume down button on iPhone 7/7+) simultaneously until you see the Apple boot logo. If that doesn't work then you may need to conduct an iTunes restore.
