Possible to have bluetooth only broadcast music, and keep notifications coming thru phone speaker ?

New guy here, hello all. I think my title says it all, but i would like to be able to bluetooth my music only, and have text/call/etc notifications come thru the handset. Is this possible? Reason being is its annoying to have them interrupt the music.

Unfortunately this is not possible.
My workaround is to Mute the phone. That way the notifications don't give a sound but since I have the phone in my hand, I don't miss any notifications. Or when I'm not looking at the phone at that moment, it simply gives me a vibration alert.

I agree with @Tartarus and that's what I do in my vehicle. When driving I put my phone on DND (do not disturb). I have my wife, parents, siblings and in-laws as favorites so their calls can still come through. Other than that, music plays uninterrupted.
