Iphone is not detecting samsung s3 gear via bluetooth

I am trying to detect s3 gear in Bluetooth to pair with the latest official app. I find that iphone is not even able to detect other phones. However, my phone can receive connecting request from other Samsung phones.My iphone can detect other devices like TV, soundbars etc. without any issue

Is there any way that i can connect my phone with s3 gear? Any other bluetooth connectivity apps? Is jailbreak the only option?
