Had the phone set for 6:30 weekdays for 2 weeks. I deleted all the alarms when it kept ringing every morning and now even when the phone is set on mute, it rings. Will reset work without losing all my other data?

I'll assume you're on iOS10...
If you have deleted all the alarms, that suggests that you have the Bedtime mode enabled. It sets up it's own independent alarm for whatever you have indicated as your desired wake-up time. So, you can turn off the Bedtime mode completely. Or, if you want the reminder to send you off to bed -- but not the morning alarm, then go to Bedtime > Options and set the wake-up alarm tone to None.
Try one of those before resetting your device.
