Safari is a Battery Hog...any alternatives?

I used to live in nigeria and because of the somewhat sluggish network I always used opera's bared-down browser that removed some unnecessary ads and reduced image quality to give me seconds in opening pages and data savings which I loved

I moved to the US some months back and enjoyed the fast opening of pages with Safari and since data use is not so much a concern anyways I switched to Safari permanently

for 3 months now I have been using safari on my 6s plus and have saved upwards of 100 passwords of site logins which is a breeze on Safari

I noticed recently that Safari is a battery hog and will like to hear about alternatives

My only concern is having to log in manually to those pages when I start to use a new browser

Yandex browser is a good alternative. It has 5 stars in appstore. Also you can use Opera browser as a full fledged browser by toggling the savings options to no-saving
