You could try to go to icloud.com, sign in with your Apple ID and select the "Find my iPhone" option (Works for iPad devices, not just iPhones). If your iPad is indeed off, there's not much good this will do, probably might record the last known location if the battery just ran out but if you manually turned it off, then I'm not sure if it would save the last known location.

Give this a try first and see what happens.

If it's powered off, there's nothing you can do, unless someone powers it on. If it's just asleep, you can track it with "find my iPad" if you had it toggled on in Settings.
