my 2 iPads share everything, if I delete from one, it deletes from the other. I need to reset my old one to give it away, but don't want to delete anything from my new one. Please help me. I have pics and videos of my mom and my dog who are no longer with me. I'm afraid of losing them.

Don't worry. Just connect your iPad to iTunes and do a restore. It will wipe out that iPad, but you're info and data will remain on the other one.

To be sure, you can also manually log out from iCloud and other services on the 'old' iPad.

You can also do a manual backup on your new one and then with the old one go into settings and go to reset under General and "Erase All Contents". Make sure you turn off Find my Phone first on the old one so it can be used after erasing.
