What happened to the "shake to shuffle" feature?

I have an iphone 4S. When listening to music, I used to just shake it to skip to the next song if I didn't want to hear the song that was playing. Since the latest update, that feature doesn't work anymore. I googled it to see how to turn the feature back on, the instructions I found were outdated. It said to go to Settings/IPod; there is no "IPod" tab in the settings. There IS a "Music" tab, but there's no option to turn the "shake to shuffle" feature back on. Did the last update do away with that feature? And if so, how do I go about undoing that update?

I don't know. I've never used that particular feature so I can only 'assume' the aforementioned feature is unavailable.

I called Apple today, they confirmed that the latest update deleted that feature from the 4S.
