I deleted photos on my iPhone

I was trying to recover something from my iPhone, and I accidentally deleted it instead of recovering it. What do I do?

Assuming it's not in the "recently deleted" photos, you may be stuck. I know you can recover photos for 30 days before you permanently delete them by just sending them back to your camera roll, but if you delete them from the "deleted" folder, I think they may be gone.
