How do I create an iTunes library for a company iPhone without wiping existing data?

I have a company iPhone that I would like to add music and apps to. I have created a new iTunes library, but when I connect the iPhone to it, it is asking if I want to "Set up as new". I don't want to wipe the company data on it.

Buy your own personal phone for personal use.

This really is the best way to go... keep your personal stuff completely separate from work stuff... because work owns whatever you do on their device - personal stuff can't be expected to stay personal on a work owned device...
