Can purchases made years ago be "family shared"?

If we set up a Family Sharing account today and I am the organizer will all the family members be able to share music purchases made years ago? For example my daughter (who will be a member but not the organizer) has a lot of music that has been purchased over the years, will we be able to share that music or is it only purchases made as a "family" after setting up family share program?

Everything (with some exception...) purchased by family members will be able to be downloaded by other members of the group... There are some apps that can't be shared... and there may be some media content that is un-shareable as well... but I have yet to encounter any. Purchases hidden under an AppleID will not be shareable...
