Why are some tracks grayed out and duplicated on my iPad Air 2?

Some of the trackes are grayed out & there is a dotted circle next to them

Define trackes? Furthermore, are the tracks/trackes you're referring to in a games, web browser, or what?

If you mean in itunes, then they are tracks that are still syncing to your device. Sometimes mine get messed up and I delete them from the list on my phone and drag and drop them again. Not enough info to help out yet but just a guess as this is the most common issue.
