After migrating iPhoto's on my I pad, the photo stream was added to my iPhone, why?

After migrating iPhoto's on my I pad, the photo stream was added to my iPhone.

I now have so many photos on my IPhone I can not take any pictures and if I delete any on my IPhone they are completly deleted. I use to take photos on my phone and delete them as they were added to my iPad, but now I can not. The photo stream was not on my iPhone. How do I change this and not lose my stream?
