IPod touch 5g comes apart

Hello new here and looking for advice.
The iPod touch keeps coming apart ,even when I press firmly at the adhesive pads area.
It was only used it a handful if times. We got it for a b day and she wasn't into it.... It was on the shelf in my room with the boxes and not in heat or sun or anything like that and I picked it up a few months ago and was like wtf.
Warranty is expired.
It just pops back up.
Any help is appreciated thank you.

I would take it to an Apple repair shop. I would not attempt to glue it myself.
