Why isn't my phone disabling using iTunes?

My phone does not want to disable using itunes

I have plugged it into the computer followed the instructions on how to restor it but 15 minutes in a message pops out saying that my phone has a passcoad to unlock it but I don't remember my number and when I swipe only the emergency screen comes out I have no screen to enter any pass coax please help
