is it possible to activate iphone 5 without simcard

I have a brand new iPhone but no Sim card yet I wanna use it until then, is it possible?

I'm honestly not sure. You may be able to use it on wifi but you won't be able to make calls or send SMS. The best advise I can give is to try it out and let us know what happens. Good Luck

You should be able to set everything up on wifi and use it like an iPod touch.
