Is there an app that you can lock the screen without pressing the power button? I used to have one with jailbreak not sure if they have this in the App Store now days

You could also set your Auto Lock to 1 minute.

How did you activate it? What caused the screen to lock if you didn’t push the button? The only other option that I know if is the Auto Lock feature that qbnkelt mentioned.

There's a jailbreak app that let's you pinch the screen to lock it or swipe all the way left to lock it or press the app icon

Interesting; I've never heard of this app, but pinching to lock would be pretty neat.

As far as I know, no...there wouldn't be anything like this in the app store. Sounds like only a feature with jailbreak.
