How can I recover the phone icon?

My Iphone icon has disappeared from the doc.I can't find it in any applications.Can you advise how to get it back?

From the homescreen, swipe downward to reveal the Spotlight search. Type in phone. When you see it in the results list, tap on it. After you use the phone, reboot your device to see if it magically reappears. If not, go through each and every folder on the device.

Also, when you search in Spotlight, look to the right of the icon to see what folder it is in, if any.

This might be extreme, but it will put all the icons back the way they were on a new iPhone.
