The phone is not ringing when there is an incoming call

My I phone - the phone does not ring when there is an incoming call,I have checked the sound settings all are in normal position. Could you kindly help me with some suggestions.Looking forward to your suggestions.

Make sure the mute switch isn't in the down position on the side of the iPhone.

Was it the mute switch? Let us know, there's other remedies to try.

Are you hooked up to a Bluetooth device and the volume is turned down? Or charging on a USB port of a stereo?

Check thd ' do not disturb' settings too. When activated you see a half moon close to the battery indicator.
