jailbroken ipad 3 with 5.1.1 firmware

i have a jailbroken ipad 3 with 5.1.1 firmware. cydia does not work on my ipad. it just blinks & doesn't open. I would like to upgrade my ipad 3 to 6.1 so I can get facetime again & reinstall cydia. what do I do? thanks

You can either update to iOS 7.1.1 or stay where you are.
