Phone not returning to original spot when going back to the search

I have a iphone 4s and lately I have been having problems when doing a search online when you return to the previous search it will not return you to the same spot on your search it sends you back to the top of the search. How do I fix this. It is very annoying. Help!!!

When trying to return to the previous search, are you using the back arrow or are you typing your search topic in again?
