iOS 7.1 "Download and Install" button is grayed out

Hello,

My iOS 7.1 "Download and Install" button is grayed out even when the iPhone is connected to my PC and the wireless network is working. How can I get the button to be active? Thank you!

Are you referring to being able to download IOS 7.1 OTA on your phone? Try rebooting your phone and if that does not work then try doing it through iTunes if this is what you are talking about.

What's your battery level? USB from PC might not be giving proper charging amount fast enough...

If you are running on battery and the charge level is below a particular level (maybe 50%, I'm not sure) then it may prevent you installing the update as a precaution so that it doesn't potentially go empty during the install.

John I do believe it is around 50% or less for sure so you might be hitting on something but if you use the USB ports in back and not in front of the computer it should have enough power battery or not. If not mistaken they put out 5ms which should be plenty.

Turn your Wi-Fi "on" on your iphone, then the Download and Install should work.
