How do I delete deleted emails from the 'search' feature on my iPad?

How do I delete deleted emails from 'search iPad? I'm not real Davy on this iPad.

Empty the trash in the deleted mail folder, so those messages aren't in the mail server.

You will have to restore the device to remove them from cache. Alternatively, however, you can go to Settings - General -Spotlight Search and then tap on the checkmark in front of "Mail" to prevent the search feature from including your email during a spotlight search.
