My 38mm Space Gray Sport with black strap was dispatched yesterday UK, will arrive by 7th May though thinking possible 5th Tuesday by UK Mail so no tracking.

May 13-27 42"SS with BSB still processing. So we are about 3 weeks from the pre-order date. We should see some movement in a week, especially if the News was correct that delivery dates will be earlier than originally estimated.

I wish there was a guarantee that we will, but at this rate there isn't.

There is no guarantee but so far based on the deliver date for me, Apple did not promise anything they did not deliver on. After all May 13 has not come yet. I ordered around 3:30AM EST and I wish they had a more ample stock available. It is obvious they misjudged the demand. And with the IPhone 6 pre-order the store was not even available until about 3:45 EST. They fixed that anyway. I am not sweating this, because this watch is not a necessity.

I don't think  was as prepared as they wanted to be. It's a new device for them. They should have done pre orders maybe a month ago and alder the popularity of watches to get those productions going faster and quicker. It's not like it's their first device release. They should know better.

My stainless 42mm with black sport band is "preparing for shipment" as of an hour ago and I've been charged for it - assume it'll ship today or tomorrow ... Getting excited - I had the 5/13-5/27 shipping timeframe

I do not feel they were prepared for the volume of the demand.

Apple could have planned and executed this much better, in my own opinion. This is a new product category for them, but they should've learned from the numerous iPad and iPhone launches they've done.

In addition to that, I'm still waiting an update on my 42mm SS with Milanese pre-order from 4/10 @ ~8:30 am. I received the shipping 4-6 weeks, delivers 5/13-5/27 approximation too.

Dang it for this thread giving me a glimmer of hope for early ship. I wonder how much the bad taptic engines slowed things down. I feel like in the least it took away any chance of getting ours early.

I need this thing that I never knew I needed in my life right now! :crying:

Ordered 42 mm Sports Space Grey at 2:09am CST.

Btw does anyone know how long we have after receiving the watch to get AppleCare for it? I didn't get it when I bought it but changed my mind.
