Sapphire vs glass image quality

I preordered a stainless steel model. I know it has the sapphire screen. I’ve heard the image quality isn’t as good as with the ion strengthened glass. Is this true? If so, I want to cancel my order before it ships. Thanks!

Nope this isn't true. My AW4 is my second Stainless Steel version and the screen imaging is better in my honest opinion as well as more durable. Enjoy your new Stainless Steel Apple Watch.

it arrived today! I love the extra weight of the SS over the aluminum models I’ve had in the past. Feels like an actual piece of jewelry. Looks great with the orange sport band too. I’ve always just gone with the black band. Nice to add some color this time around.
