Showing pics in Screensaver

I have a maybe it’s 3rd Gen? Not the 4K. I’m trying to show my pics like I do on my Fire TV and my Kindle Fire. I see I can use my photos and it allows me to chose an album but not recents or activity. How can I get my all of my pics to cycle through?

So my photo stream was off for some reason! Maybe it was during the nursing years! I’m still seeing the same few pics though! Any idea? They are at least recent!

Is iCloud Photos enabled on the Apple TV?
That's under Settings, Users and Accounts, Your name, and iCloud Photos. Please be aware that enabling iCloud Photos will allow anyone with access to the Apple TV to access your photo library.

Photo Stream only takes your 1000 most recent photos, taken within the past 30 days: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT205743

This could explain that…
