Laptop for teaching abroad

Hi all, I've got a job teaching English in Japan starting in June and desperately need a new laptop (my current one is heavy and won't last 30 mins off the mains), so can anyone suggest a laptop which may suit me or if MacBook air or pro is better? I would get the 13inch, but don't know if I need the 256gb or 125gb version.

Any tips?

If you want more power and a retina display go with the pro. If portability and battery life is more important then go with the Air. The Air is more than powerful enough for most users. The new MacBook is lighter but also less powerful and gets worse battery life then either the Air or Pro. You probably want to consider a 2014 model of whatever you decide to get. You will be able to get them for a better price and the 2015 models are only slightly more powerful.
