Delivery of Airpods

How long is it actually taking to receive Airpods if you order from Apple? Is it really take 6 weeks? Would like to have a pair by mid-January but it says Feb. 22 if I order not sure whether to order or take chance on finding in store. Advice?

You could order them and still check stores. If they have them in store cancel your online order. You might be pleasantly surprised that Apple will deliver early.

They are currently out of stock, people who booked earlier will get them earlier.

I went ahead and order some today, delevery Six weeks. I hope that improves.

When I ordered mine they said the delivery date would be Jan 12th. I got mine on Dec 27th.

I do hope for a faster delivery. I don't know If I can wait 6 weeks. I have been waiting since October. But fell short on ordering them because I choice not too because they were not ready in October. But changed my mind. Agony I tell ya

My original delivery date was also 1/12. I'm getting them tomorrow, so a little over a week earlier than promised. Can't wait!

I ordered on dec 14th with a 6 weeks delay to January 30th. It did not change since, it's still processing with the same delivery info.

Someone posted earlier that Best Buy's website was showing a delivery date of 2 days. Not the app

Several  stores appear to be receiving small supplies, several days of the week. So, you can check every morning at around store opening time & order for store pick up (if you are lucky).

I was at my local Apple Store on Tuesday and they had them available. They did not have them on display, but if you asked they got them from the back.

I was at my Apple Store Yesterday and demo a pair Apple Airbuds. My Apple store didn't have any in stock and an estimated delivery date of Feb 22nd. I decided to go to the BestBuy website right there in the parking lot and ordered them, They was shipped this morning and should be here by Saturday or no later than Monday.....beats Feb 22nd.

Ordered Dec 13 with an original delivery date of Jan 12 (Louisiana, USA.) I got them yesterday, a week ahead of schedule. IMO, they're well worth the wait. These things are awesome.

Ya I ask Apple and they said the 6 weeks was not a delivery date for them not me. And I would get them on February 22. This has been such a debacle, I hope they're worth it.
