Why my phone doesn't turn on'?

today my iphone turned off so i charged it BUT it didn't turn on. I thought that maybe the problem was the battery charger but it wasn't (i tried 4 battery chargers).
i've been charging it all day but it's still off.
( the screen shows that it's charging)
