Why doesn't my iPhone 6 (running 8.2) show message content in mail?

My iphone 6 running 8.2 does not show message content in mail

The content can be seen if you hit reply. It also comes up immediately in the gmail app I added as a temporary fix.

Try a reboot... if that doesn't help, back-up to iTunes & sync... restore the iOS... restore the back-up & sync to iTunes.

I have many devices experiencing this same issue. I don't believe it has to do with resetting the phone. Not to mention if that is the fix for "every" bug in iOS it's getting to be worse than the "restart Windows" fix for everything in Windows. At least that process was quick.

I can reply, forward, and copy and paste the email content. It's there. It's simply not displaying.

Edit: Please note my issue isn't with all emails. Just from certain senders. If I could identify the issue I could report it to them (pending it being something on their side of course).

As a less extreme step, try force quitting the mail app by double pressing Home, and swipe up the mail app. When I come across mail issues, this fixes the vast majority of them.

I tried both solutions and it's still not showing the content. Anything else you would suggest?
