Why does one of my Apple tv's rarely connect to home sharing?

One of my apple tv's rarely connects to home sharing.

We have 2 Apple tvs in our house. And one will connect barely. You have to everything in and off 2 or 3 times and then it'll connect. But this Apple TV is right beside the desktop.

The 2nd one which is up 3 flights of stairs will never join anymore.

Any fixes for this issue?

Sounds like a WiFi hotspot issue.
