Why does it want to charge me suddenly?

So I had Pages, Numbers, Garage band etc at one point and removed them. I want to use pages again but now it wants me to pay $9.99? It was on my iPhone 7+ when I bought it. Why do I have to pay to re-download it?

You shouldn't be charged as long as you have a device that came loaded with those apps. What you might want to do is try downloading one of the apps to see if it tries actually charging you for it. If that's the case then go to http://reportaproblem.apple.com and request a refund. Theoretically it should recognize that it should be free...theoretically
