What the iphone 1 year warranty covers??

I have a jail broken i phone 3g. it was working fine until today. ever since i disconnected it from my car charger it keeps on notifying me that the accessory is not compatible with the phone. this happens out of nowhere. while i listen to music or check my email. Now when i plug it in the car charger it dosn't respond right away. I think it has something to do with a dirty connector.
But i just want to know what the included warranty cover. pls help.

and i am aware that if i want to take it to the apple store i need to unjaibreak it.

Have you checked the Apple website? It's all there!

Try restoring it before you take it in. That will ask you if you did that any way, besides it might fix the problem. Take a can of air and clean out the dock port.

yea i just went on winter board and unchecked all the things. i think useless crap such as comet might have been the problem. well its working fine now, but im still going to get that can of air.
