Dustin's Entry!

This is the first, original picture of a flower that I got for my Mom's backyard.
*Tinypic rotated this wrong for some reason*

This is the same picture after I ran it through Instagram.

This is the second picture of the tree in front of our house in bloom.
*Tinypic also rotated this one weird as well.*

And, the same picture ran through Instagram.

Flower "Paintings"

Taken with SynthCam on iPhone 4, minor adjustments and cropping in iPhoto on iPad (2012).

Yes, they are blurry, but that's exactly the effect I was going for. It might not exactly show off the iPad's retina display, but I liked them. Hope you do, too ;)

3rd entry: I've been tracking this branch at work for the past couple of weeks. Shot and edited with an iPhone 4 using Camera+.

That's right, it's the debut of iMore's weekly photography contest! This week's theme is flowers in celebration of springtime!

Make sure you take a look at these posts for tips on getting beautiful photos:

http://www.imore.com/2012/02/10/rule-thirds/
http://www.imore.com/2012/03/03/negative-space/
http://www.imore.com/2012/02/25/macro-photography/

The rules are simple: the photo must have been taken with an iPhone or iPad. You *are* allowed to edit the photo, but the catch is that all edits must be made with an iPhone or iPad app. Please make sure you indicate which app(s) you used to edit your photos.

You are allowed as many submissions as you want, but we recommend you only submit what you believe to be the best :)

The prize? We'll convert your photo into an official iMore wallpaper, showcase it on the main page, and send you an iMore tshirt?

So what are you waiting for? Go out and get some epic flower photos! Go!
How do you move pics from iPad to the Forum?I'm new at this and can't figure it out!!!

Dustin's Entry #2

Ooops! I realized I forgot to upload another pic, so here it is!
I took advice from Leanna and tried The Rule of Thirds and lined the flower up on the far right vertical grid line.

This is the picture straight out of the iPhone 4S.
*Once again, Tinypic rotated this one. Whyyy? >;[ *
