Web Apps

I tried to dig through this forum and also have done my fair share of googling. I even created a free developer account to access Apple's resources but I wanted to ask the masses for their input.

Web apps interest me, and if I were more interested in developing I think I would prefer them.

Anyone here familiar with creating web apps?
If so how did you create it? Did you use Dashcode?
Is it possible to create web apps outside of Dashcode simply by writing the HTML and CSS code?

wow you are so luck I read this. I just finished researching web apps.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Understanding of JQuery / Javascript
• A text editor (Dreamweaver, Text-Mate)

Don't need:

• Xcode
• Dashcode

I'm still under 10 post so I can't give you the links but this what you need to search for: jqtouch (animations and interactions with the iphone OS & web browser), "building iphone apps" from O'Reilly Publishing (free online version but worth the buy)

With that your set and there are a few youtube that explain the jQTouch so look for those. If you need any help I'll be watching this thread.
