Using a Zoom iQ6 Microphone but cannot charge my IPhone 6 Plus

The iQ6 Zoom microphone plugs into the charging port on the IPhone 6 Plus so if I use it for an extended recording of several hours the IPhone battery goes dead. Is there a way to keep the IPhone charging while I use this microphone? Is there another microphone that does not have this problem?

Unfortunately there is no way to charge your phone and use the microphone at the same time. As far as microphones that will let you charge, I can't answer that one.
